A mini-Goa
Diu is a small island that is close to the port of Veraval. It was once a Portuguese colony and is now surrounded by beaches. Given its abundance of beaches and proximity to Gujarat’s southern coast, particularly the Nagoa beach, Diu enjoys the greatest level of popularity, but it also has a lot more to offer. In Diu, alcohol is permitted.
A well-liked tourist destination is the Diu Fort, one of the main examples of Portuguese influence on the region’s history and architecture. Vanakbara, a tiny fishing village with hues of vibrant boats and the bustle of daily life, is another fascinating location.
