Itinerary
Today, depart for the Little Rann of Kutch. Upon arrival, check into the resort. You can visit the homes of the Rabari and Banjara tribes, two significant communities in the region. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Little Rann of Kutch.
Today, travel to the sacred town of Dwarka, stopping in Jamnagar en route. In Jamnagar, visit Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Museum. In the evening, visit the Bala Hanuman Temple, known for its continuous chanting of Ramdhun since 1956, a feat recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Upon arrival in Dwarka, visit the Dwarkadeesh Temple and take a holy dip in the Gomti River. Overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning, depart to visit Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi Talav, and Bet Dwarka. On the way back, stop by the Rukmani Temple. In the evening, visit other coastal temples and attend the evening aarti at Dwarkadish Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning, depart for Porbandar (75km / 1.5hrs). In Porbandar, visit Kirti Mandir, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and the unique Sudama Temple. Continue to Somnath (130km / 2.5hrs). Upon arrival, visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir Chopati, and the Somnath Temple. In the evening, attend the aarti and watch the light and sound show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, travel to the beach town of Diu. Visit St. Paul’s Church, Diu Museum, and Diu Fort. Spend the evening at leisure, relaxing on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Sasangir, home to the Asiatic Lion. Upon arrival, prepare for an open jeep safari at Gir National Park (book your safari at www.girlion.in). Later, visit the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya (closed on Wednesdays). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, head towards Bhavnagar, stopping at Palitana along the way. Visit the famous Jain temples at Shatrunjaya Hills. Continue to Bhavnagar. In the evening, visit Takhteshwar Temple, located on a small hillock. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit the Nishkalank Mahadev Temple in Koliyak, Bhavnagar. On the way, explore other archaeological sites (closed on Fridays). Conclude your journey with a drop-off at the railway station or airport.
